ततः प्रोवाच वचनं हृष्टपुष्टो द्विजोत्तमः । वरदोऽस्मि वरं वत्स वृणु यत्तव रोचते
tataḥ provāca vacanaṃ hṛṣṭapuṣṭo dvijottamaḥ | varado'smi varaṃ vatsa vṛṇu yattava rocate
แล้วพราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ ผู้ยินดีและรุ่งเรือง กล่าวถ้อยคำว่า “ลูกเอ๋ย เราเป็นผู้ประทานพร จงเลือกพรใดที่ใจเจ้าปรารถนาเถิด”
