मार्कण्डं दृष्टवांस्तत्र तरुणादित्यसन्निभम् । ऋषिभिः सेव्यमानं तु नानाशास्त्रविशारदैः

mārkaṇḍaṃ dṛṣṭavāṃstatra taruṇādityasannibham | ṛṣibhiḥ sevyamānaṃ tu nānāśāstraviśāradaiḥ

ณ ที่นั้นเขาทั้งหลายได้เห็นพระฤๅษีมารกัณฑेय ผู้รุ่งเรืองดุจดวงอาทิตย์อ่อนวัย มีหมู่ฤๅษีผู้ชำนาญในคัมภีร์ศาสตรศักดิ์สิทธิ์นานาประการคอยปรนนิบัติ
