हविर्भागैस्तु विप्राणां राज्ञां चैवामयाविनाम् । दृष्ट्वा तु बहुरोगार्तमग्निं देवमुखं सुराः । प्राहुस्ते सहिता देवं शङ्करं लोकशङ्करम्
havirbhāgaistu viprāṇāṃ rājñāṃ caivāmayāvinām | dṛṣṭvā tu bahurogārtamagniṃ devamukhaṃ surāḥ | prāhuste sahitā devaṃ śaṅkaraṃ lokaśaṅkaram
เมื่อเหล่าเทวะเห็นพระอัคนี—“ปากของเหล่าเทวะ”—ถูกรุมเร้าด้วยโรคานานา และเห็นว่าบุญส่วนแห่งเครื่องบูชาของพราหมณ์และแม้ของพระราชาทั้งหลายก็พลอยบกพร่องไป เขาทั้งหลายจึงพร้อมกันกราบทูลพระศังกร ผู้เกื้อกูลโลกทั้งปวง
