तथेति ते प्रतिज्ञाय नारदाद्या अदर्शनम् । गतेषु विप्रमुख्येषु शाण्डिली च तपोधना

tatheti te pratijñāya nāradādyā adarśanam | gateṣu vipramukhyeṣu śāṇḍilī ca tapodhanā

พวกเขากล่าวว่า “ตถาสตु” แล้วตั้งปฏิญาณ ครั้นแล้วนารทและท่านอื่น ๆ ก็อันตรธานจากสายตา เมื่อพราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐเหล่านั้นไปแล้ว ศาณฑิลีผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะยังคงอยู่
