स्नात्वादौ पातकी ब्रह्मन्नत्वा तु कीर्तयेदघम् । तस्य तन्नश्यते क्षिप्रं तमः सूर्योदये यथा

snātvādau pātakī brahmannatvā tu kīrtayedagham | tasya tannaśyate kṣipraṃ tamaḥ sūryodaye yathā

โอ้พราหมณ์ แม้ผู้มีบาป เมื่ออาบน้ำชำระที่นั่นก่อน แล้วกราบนอบน้อมภายหลัง พึงสารภาพและกล่าวถึงความผิดของตน; บาปนั้นย่อมสลายโดยเร็ว ดุจความมืดหายไปเมื่ออรุณรุ่ง
