संसारगह्वरगुहां प्रविहातुमेतां चेदिच्छथ प्रतिपदं भवतापखिन्नाः । नानाविधैर्निजकृतैर्बहुकर्मपाशैर्बद्धाः सुखाय शृणुतैकहितं मयोक्तम्

saṃsāragahvaraguhāṃ pravihātumetāṃ cedicchatha pratipadaṃ bhavatāpakhinnāḥ | nānāvidhairnijakṛtairbahukarmapāśairbaddhāḥ sukhāya śṛṇutaikahitaṃ mayoktam

หากท่านทั้งหลายผู้เหนื่อยล้าทุกย่างก้าวด้วยไฟทุกข์แห่งสังสารวัฏ ปรารถนาจะหลุดพ้นจากถ้ำเหวลึกแห่งสังสารวัฏนี้โดยแท้—แม้ถูกผูกมัดด้วยบ่วงกรรมมากมายอันตนกระทำไว้หลากหลาย—เพื่อประโยชน์และความสงบของท่าน จงฟังคำสอนอันเป็นคุณยิ่งเพียงหนึ่งเดียวที่เรากล่าวนี้
