गायत्र् या जपमंत्रांते त्रिरूर्ध्वं प्राग्विनिक्षिपेत् । मंत्रेण सह चैकं वै मध्येऽर्घ्यं तु रवेर्द्विजा

เมื่อจบการภาวนา (ชปะ) พึงกล่าวคายตรีแล้วถวายสายน้ำสามครั้งขึ้นเบื้องบนหันสู่ทิศตะวันออก จากนั้นพร้อมมนต์ พึงถวายอรฆยะหนึ่งครั้งตรงกลางแด่พระสุริยะ โอทวิชาทั้งหลาย.
