प्रापय्य शनकैस्तोयं पीठिकोपरि शाययेत् । प्राक्शिरस्कमधःसूत्रं पिंडिकां चास्य पश्चिमे

เมื่อรินน้ำอย่างช้า ๆ แล้ว พึงวางให้ประดิษฐานบนปิฐิกา (ฐานศักดิ์สิทธิ์) ให้ศีรษะหันสู่ทิศตะวันออก วางสายกำกับไว้ด้านล่าง และตั้งปิณฑิกา (ฐานรอง) ไว้ทางด้านทิศตะวันตกของท่าน
