यद्यास्तिकस्सुधर्मिष्ठो मान्यो वा यो ऽपि कोपि वा । तमुद्दिश्यापि नो कुर्यादाततायिनमप्युत

แม้ผู้ใดจะเป็นผู้ศรัทธา (อาสติกะ) เคร่งธรรม และควรแก่การเคารพ—ไม่ว่าเขาจะเป็นใคร—ก็ไม่พึงกระทำการเยี่ยงอาตตายินต่อเขา และไม่พึงยุยงให้ทำบาปเช่นนั้นด้วย।

Sthala Purana: Not a site-legend; it is a moral clarification: even ‘good’ social credentials (āstika, sudharmiṣṭha, mānya) do not license violence or becoming an ātatāyin.

Significance: Frames dharma as internal discipline: the devotee’s safety lies in not generating fresh pāśa (bondage) through हिंसा and aggression.
