FAQs

It teaches that Śiva’s worship is immeasurable in its greatness and results; the devotee receives an appropriate fruit—worldly welfare or liberation—according to sincerity and intent, with Śiva as the supreme giver of grace (Pati).

By likening the fruit of worship to the Cintāmaṇi, the verse supports accessible Saguna upāsanā—such as Liṅga-arcana—where the devotee approaches Śiva through form and rite, yet receives transcendent benefit through His grace.

Perform Śiva-arcana with steady devotion—offering water, bilva leaves, and repeating the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya)—trusting that the right phala arises from worship itself.
