bharadvājaśca varṇānāṃ kramaśaścarṣayaḥ smṛtāḥ | gāyatryanuṣṭuptriṣṭupca chaṃdāṃsi bṛhatī virāṭ

ตามลำดับแห่งวรรณะ ภรทวาชะและฤๅษีอื่น ๆ ถูกระลึกไว้ และฉันท์ทั้งหลายสอนไว้ว่า คายตรี อนุษฏุภ ตริษฏุภ พฤหตี และวิราฏ.
