การถวายดอกไม้ไม่มีข้อบังคับตายตัว ควรถวายตามที่หาได้ อัรฆยะองค์แปดนับว่ายอดเยี่ยม และโดยเฉพาะธูปกับการทาเครื่องหอมศักดิ์สิทธิ์เป็นที่สรรเสริญยิ่งในการบูชาพระศิวะ
