मुनयश्शंसितात्मानः सत्यव्रतपरायणाः । महौजसो महाभागा महासत्रं वितेनिरे

เหล่ามุนีเหล่านั้นมีความประพฤติอันน่าสรรเสริญ ยึดมั่นในพรตแห่งสัจจะ มีเดชานุภาพทางจิตวิญญาณยิ่งใหญ่และเป็นผู้มีมหามงคล จึงได้จัดและเริ่มพิธีมหาสัตระยัญอันยิ่งใหญ่
