The verse highlights swift, decisive action aligned with dharma after clear understanding—an attitude Shaiva Siddhanta values when conduct supports cosmic order under the Lord (Pati). Even in conflict, right resolve and disciplined response are emphasized.
Though the verse names Kṛṣṇa and Garuḍa, the Shiva Purana frames events as unfolding within Śiva’s sovereign order. Remembering Saguna Shiva (as the guiding Lord of dharma) keeps action purified—worship is not only ritual before the Liṅga but also righteous conduct performed with devotion.
A practical takeaway is to begin urgent duties with inner recollection of Śiva—mentally repeating the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) to steady intention—then act promptly and responsibly, as Kṛṣṇa does after hearing the full account.
