Though narrating a battle-march, it mirrors Saguna devotion: just as attendants follow Rāma-Kṛṣṇa with loyalty, the devotee is to follow Lord Shiva’s command through worship—Linga-pūjā, reverence, and surrender—transforming action into devotion.
A practical takeaway is to enter any duty after centering the mind with Shiva-smaraṇa—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and, if one follows Shaiva rites, applying Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) as a reminder of vairāgya and protection.
