The Goddesses (Devīs)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shakti Form: Caṇḍikā
Role: teaching
It presents a Shaiva theme of siddhi arising when one acts in alignment with divine ordinance: the Devīs direct a precise, consecrated action, implying that success comes from disciplined performance guided by higher powers, not mere personal force.
Though the Liṅga is not named here, the verse reflects the Purāṇic pattern of saguna divine governance—specific places, presences, and rites become channels through which grace and fruition manifest, a key idea behind temple/linga-centered worship.
A practical takeaway is disciplined execution of an instructed rite (kārya) at the sanctified locus; for Shaiva practice this parallels doing japa of the Pañcākṣarī, wearing rudrākṣa, and applying tripuṇḍra with correct vidhi to support steadiness and auspicious completion.
