Cosmic Event: prajā-sarga through Devahūti–Kardama; expansion of social-cosmic networks via daughters’ lines
In the Sṛṣṭi-khaṇḍa narrative, the verse situates worldly lineage within cosmic order: creation unfolds through dharma-bound progeny, while Shaiva Siddhanta reminds that such expansion is ultimately upheld by Pati (Śiva), the inner governor of all births.
Though the verse is genealogical, it supports the Purana’s larger frame: Saguna Shiva presides over sṛṣṭi (manifest order). Lineage and social dharma become stable contexts in which Shiva-worship—Linga-puja, mantra, and vrata—can be practiced toward liberation.
No specific rite is prescribed in this line; the practical takeaway is to live within dharma and sanctify household life with Shiva-centered disciplines such as daily Panchakshara japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and regular Linga-abhiṣeka.
