प्र देवमच्छा मधुमन्त इन्दवोऽसिष्यदन्त गाव आ न धेनवः । बर्हिषदो वचनावन्त ऊधभिः परिस्रुतमुस्रिया निर्णिजं धिरे ॥

Transliteration

prá devám ácchā mádhumanta índavo ’síṣyadanta gā́va ā́ ná dhenávaḥ | barhiṣádo vacanā́vanta ū́dhabhiḥ parisrútam usríyā nírṇijaṃ dhire ||

Translation

สู่พระภาวะอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ หยดโสมะ (Soma) อันชุ่มด้วยน้ำผึ้งพุ่งพล่านออกไป—ดุจฝูงโค ดุจแม่โคให้นมเร่งกลับคอก. เหล่าพลังผู้ประทับบนบัรหิษ (barhis) อุดมด้วยวาจาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ย่อมตั้งวางด้วยเต้านมของตนซึ่งรัศมีที่ส่องสว่าง (usriyā) ไหลริน—อาภรณ์อันผุดผ่องแห่งความบริสุทธิ์
