Transliteration
evā́ṃ agníṃ vasū-yávaḥ sahasā́naṃ vavandima | sá no víśvā ati dvíṣaḥ párṣan nā́vāiva su-krátuḥ ||
Translation
ดังนี้แล เราผู้แสวงหาทรัพย์อันแท้จริง ได้นอบน้อมสรรเสริญอัคนี (Agni) ผู้ทรงเดช ขอพระองค์ผู้มีเจตนาดีและปัญญาอันเที่ยงธรรม จงพาเราข้ามพ้นความชิงชังและแรงศัตรูทั้งปวง ดุจเรือพาข้ามฝั่ง
