पदे इव निहिते दस्मे अन्तस्तयोरन्यद्गुह्यमाविरन्यत् । सध्रीचीना पथ्या सा विषूची महद्देवानामसुरत्वमेकम् ॥
padé iva níhite dasmé antás táyor anyád gúhyam āvír anyát | sadhrīcīnā́ pathyā́ sā́ víṣūcī mahád devānām asura-tvám ékam ||
ดุจรอยเท้าสองรอยที่วางไว้ภายในสิ่งอัศจรรย์ ในสองนั้น รอยหนึ่งเร้นลับ อีกหนึ่งปรากฏชัด หนึ่งคือหนทางตรงไปในทิศเดียวกัน อีกหนึ่งคือหนทางแยกออกต่างทิศ—สิ่งหนึ่งนั้นคืออธิปไตยอันไพศาลของเหล่าเทวะ เป็นพลังอสุระ (Asura) อันเดียวเดียว
