Sukta 3.47
सजोषा इन्द्र सगणो मरुद्भिः सोमं पिब वृत्रहा शूर विद्वान् । जहि शत्रूँरप मृधो नुदस्वाथाभयं कृणुहि विश्वतो नः ॥
sa-jóṣā indra sá-gaṇo marúdbhiḥ sómaṁ piba vṛtra-hā śūra vidvā́n | jáhi śatrū́m̐r ápa mṛ́dho nudasvā́thā́bhayaṁ kṛṇuhi viśvátó naḥ ||
โอ้อินทระ ผู้ร่วมยินดีกับหมู่มารุต ผู้ร่วมคณะเดียวกัน จงดื่มโสมะเถิด—ผู้พิฆาตวฤตระ ผู้กล้าผู้รู้เท่าทัน. จงฟาดฟันศัตรู จงขับไล่การรุกรานทั้งหลาย แล้วจงบันดาลความไร้ความหวาดกลัวแก่เราจากทุกทิศทุกทาง.
