Transliteration
yásya saṃsthé na vṛṇvate hárī samátsu śátravāḥ | táσμαi índrāya gāyata ||
Translation
จงขับร้องแด่อินทรา (Indra) พระองค์นั้น ผู้ซึ่ง ณ ที่ตั้งอันมั่นคงของพระองค์ เหล่าพลังศัตรู แม้อยู่ท่ามกลาง ‘สมตสุ’ (sámatsu การปะทะและศึก) ก็ไม่อาจฉวยหรือสกัดกั้น ‘หรี’ (harī ม้าคู่ทรงพลัง) ทั้งสอง—พลังคู่แห่งแสงสว่างที่พาเจตจำนงของวิญญาณก้าวไปข้างหน้า.
