यज्ञो हि ष्मेन्द्रं कश्चिदृन्धञ्जुहुराणश्चिन्मनसा परियन् । तीर्थे नाच्छा तातृषाणमोको दीर्घो न सिध्रमा कृणोत्यध्वा ॥

yajñó hí ṣméndraṃ káś cid ṛ́ndhan júhūrāṇaś cin mánasā pariyán | tī́rthe nā́cchā tātṛṣāṇám óko dī́rgho na sidhmám ā́ kṛṇoty ádhvā ||

ยัญญะแท้จริงย่อมชนะอินทระได้—ใครบางคน แม้กำลังถวายบูชา ก็ยังเวียนไปด้วยใจ. ดุจเข้าหาท่าข้าม มันย่อมไปถึงเรือนอันปรารถนา; ดุจทางอันยาวไกล มันย่อมจัดเตรียมทางตรงให้ถึงจุดหมาย.
