Rejoicing to hear the words of Ravana, proclaiming himself to be a hero, Maka raksha, the son of Khara said 'good'.
The narrative suggests that adharma disturbs the environment; Dharma is harmony with the moral order, while cruelty and rage invite turbulence.
At Makarākṣa’s departure, the atmosphere turns violent—another inauspicious omen before confrontation with Rāma’s side.
The implied virtue is restraint over wrath; rage (raudra) is depicted as a destructive force.
