Haughty Kumbha, fixed a charming arrow resembling a venomous serpent and struck at Dwivida's brother.
The verse highlights the seriousness of righteous war: actions have consequences, and combat demands vigilance; Dharma in battle includes preparedness and steadiness under threat.
Kumbha nocks and releases a deadly arrow and hits Mainda (identified through relation to Dvīvida) in the chest.
Martial prowess and resolve—Kumbha’s unwavering offensive focus in the midst of chaos.
