कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः
Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana
तदिचेन्द्राद्भयं राजन्यदि चापिस्वयम्भुवः ।ततोऽहंनाशयिष्यामिनैशंतमइवांशुमान् ।।6.63.52।।अपिदेवाश्शयिष्यन्तेक्रुद्धेमयिमहीतले ।
tad iced indrād bhayaṃ rājan yadi cāpi svayambhuvaḥ |
tato 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi naiśaṃ tama ivāṃśumān ||
api devāḥ śayiṣyante kruddhe mayi mahītale |
ข้าแต่พระราชา หากพระองค์หวาดกลัวแม้พระอินทร์ หรือแม้พระสวายัมภู (พระพรหม) ข้าก็จักทำลายความหวาดกลัวนั้น ดุจดวงอาทิตย์ขจัดความมืดแห่งราตรี เมื่อข้ากริ้วบนพื้นพิภพ แม้เหล่าเทวะก็จักล้มลงสู่ธรณี
