Without building a bridge over this terrific ocean, the abode of Varuna, it is not possible to cross over to Lanka even for Indra, suras or Asuras.
Dharma is realistic right-action: even for a righteous cause, one must follow the lawful constraints of the world and adopt proper means (a bridge), not rely on mere wish or pride.
They emphasize that crossing to Laṅkā requires constructing a bridge; the ocean is an insurmountable boundary without appropriate method.
Practical wisdom and strategic clarity—choosing effective means aligned with reality and order.
