Pulastya

Concept: Right inquiry into dharma opens access to secret observances that yield enduring merit.

Application: Cultivate sincere questioning, seek qualified instruction, and practice disciplines with faith rather than curiosity alone.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A forest hermitage at dawn: sage Pulastya sits on a kusa-grass seat beside a low fire altar, turning toward an attentive listener who has just asked a dharma-question. Palm-leaf manuscripts and a lotus-bowl of water rest nearby, suggesting the ‘secret’ about to be revealed.","primary_figures":["Pulastya","attentive disciple/listener (Bhīṣma-like royal seeker or unnamed śiṣya)"],"setting":"ṛṣi-āśrama with yajña-kuṇḍa, sacred trees, deer in the distance, manuscripts and rosary","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["saffron","earth brown","leaf green","smoke gray","lotus pink"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Pulastya as a radiant sage with halo, seated near a small homa-kunda, holding a palm-leaf manuscript; the listener kneels with folded hands; gold leaf embellishment on halos, ornaments, and manuscript edges; rich reds and greens, gem-studded details, traditional South Indian iconographic symmetry.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: serene Himalayan-forest hermitage with delicate brushwork; Pulastya in ochre robes gestures as if unveiling a secret; cool greens and soft blues, refined faces, a thin stream and distant hills, lyrical naturalism.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold black outlines and warm natural pigments; Pulastya with large expressive eyes, sacred thread visible, seated by a stylized fire altar; background filled with patterned foliage; dominant reds, yellows, greens with temple-wall aesthetic.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: a devotional teaching scene framed by lotus and creeper borders; sages under a kadamba tree; subtle Vishnu symbols (conch, discus) in the border to hint the vrata’s Vaishnava fruit; deep blues and gold accents, intricate floral motifs."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"narrative","suggested_raga":"Yaman","pace":"moderate-narrative","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["forest birds","soft crackle of sacrificial fire","gentle wind","brief silence between clauses"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: पृष्टमिदम् = पृष्टम् + इदम्; सम्यगक्षयस्वर्गकारकम् = सम्यक् + अक्षयस्वर्गकारकम्; यत्पुराणविदो = यत् + पुराणविदः (यत्-शब्दस्य तकारादेशः संधौ).
