Narada (in dialogue tradition with Sanatkumara; kavacha instruction section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It establishes the correct sequence: first dhyāna (meditation) on Nārāyaṇa, then kavaca recitation—showing that protection is grounded in inner remembrance of Vishnu, not mere formula.
By invoking Govinda and Madhusūdana as living protectors in specific directions, the devotee practices continual, personal reliance on Vishnu—turning devotion into moment-to-moment refuge.
It reflects practical ritual procedure (prayoga): beginning a kavaca only after dhyāna, and using directional nyāsa-style protection—an applied discipline aligned with mantra-vidhi rather than a theoretical Vedanga lesson.
