Narada (as narrator/teacher within the Uttara-bhāga vrata/mahatmya discourse; traditional dialogue framework)
Vrata: Nakta-related discipline (with naivedya + mauna)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It links offering (naivedya) with inner discipline: the act of eating becomes a continuation of worship when done after offering to Śiva and with restraint, reducing sense-craving (jihvā-laulya).
Bhakti here is practical and embodied—first dedicate the food to Śiva, then partake as prasāda with humility and silence, treating consumption as service rather than indulgence.
Ritual procedure and niyama (discipline) are emphasized—proper naivedya offering and regulated conduct while eating; it reflects applied kalpa-style ritual sensibility rather than grammar or astrology.
