ततो मां प्रार्थयामास देहि मेऽङ्गविभूषणम् । तन्मया नहि दत्तं तु भर्त्रे व्यसनिने तदा ॥ ६२ ॥

tato māṃ prārthayāmāsa dehi me'ṅgavibhūṣaṇam | tanmayā nahi dattaṃ tu bhartre vyasanine tadā || 62 ||

แล้วเขาก็วิงวอนข้าพเจ้าว่า “จงให้เครื่องประดับของเจ้าแก่ข้า” แต่ในเวลานั้น ข้าพเจ้าไม่มอบให้แก่สามีผู้ตกอยู่ในอบายและความวิบัติแล้วนั้น।
