एवं ज्ञात्वा मया देवि विक्रियां पापसंभवाम् । निवारितासि वामोरु सखीभावेन सुंदरि ॥ १८ ॥

evaṃ jñātvā mayā devi vikriyāṃ pāpasaṃbhavām | nivāritāsi vāmoru sakhībhāvena suṃdari || 18 ||

ข้าแต่เทวี เมื่อข้าพเจ้าได้รู้ชัดถึงความวิปริตอันเป็นโทษซึ่งเกิดจากบาปแล้ว โอ้สตรีผู้เลอโฉมผู้มีต้นขางาม ข้าพเจ้าจึงห้ามปรามท่านด้วยจิตแห่งมิตรภาพ
