सोऽहं रक्षणमुद्दिश्यगमिष्यामि वनं प्रिये । विमुक्तभावोऽहमिति मेरुश्रृंगे रविर्यथा ॥ १७ ॥
so'haṃ rakṣaṇamuddiśyagamiṣyāmi vanaṃ priye | vimuktabhāvo'hamiti meruśrṛṃge raviryathā || 17 ||
เพราะฉะนั้น นางผู้เป็นที่รัก เพื่อการคุ้มครองเราจักไปสู่ป่า; ตั้งมั่นในความเชื่อว่า ‘เราพ้นพันธนาการแล้ว’ ดุจดวงอาทิตย์ที่สถิตบนยอดเขาพระเมรุ।
