Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

हुं फट् कवचमुद्दिष्टं नीलकंठिन इत्यतः । स्वाहांतमस्त्रमेतानि पंचागानि मनोर्विदुः ॥ १५४ ॥

huṃ phaṭ kavacamuddiṣṭaṃ nīlakaṃṭhina ityataḥ | svāhāṃtamastrametāni paṃcāgāni manorviduḥ || 154 ||

‘หุม ผัฏ’ ถูกระบุว่าเป็นกวจะ (เกราะมนตร์) และตั้งแต่วลี ‘นีลกัณฐินี’ เป็นต้นไป ส่วนที่ลงท้ายด้วย ‘สวาหา’ ให้เข้าใจว่าเป็นอัสตระ (อาวุธมนตร์) ผู้รู้ย่อมทราบว่านี่คือปัญจางคะแห่งมนตร์
