Narada (within a recitation of a directional sin-removing prayer/nyasa-style invocation)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames sin (pāpmā) as something that can be ritually identified and removed, invoking Varuṇa as the purifying deity of waters to dissolve the karmic stain caused by wrongful action.
Though ritual in form, it expresses bhakti through surrender and divine reliance—seeking Varuṇa’s grace to cleanse wrongdoing, aligning the devotee again with dharma.
It reflects ritual application (kalpa-prayoga) using directional assignment (dik-sambandha) and precise mantra wording—showing how structured recitation is used for purification (prāyaścitta).
