FAQs

It emphasizes strict completion of a prescribed ritual procedure (vidhi): after the rite is properly done, the practitioner should conclude by returning home at night, indicating closure, discipline, and containment of the rite’s power.

This verse is more aligned with ritual procedure than explicit bhakti; indirectly, it reflects the Purāṇic principle that disciplined, rule-bound practice (performed with inner satisfaction and sincerity) supports religious aims, including protection and stability for a devotee’s life.

It highlights prayoga-style ritual application—precision in vidhi (procedure) and timing (niśi, night)—which aligns with Kalpa (ritual science) and its practical rules for performing and concluding rites.
