Narada (narrating in the Purāṇic summary flow to the Sanatkumāra tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira (heroic)
Secondary Rasa: shanta (peace)
It emphasizes dharmic order: first perform worship according to prescribed rite (vidhi), then undertake action with inner steadiness (anākula), showing that composure and ritual correctness support righteous conduct.
Bhakti here is expressed as reverent, rule-guided worship (saṃpūjya…vidhānena) that naturally leads to disciplined, calm engagement with one’s duties—devotion shaping conduct, not remaining only as emotion.
The verse points to kalpa/ritual procedure (vidhāna)—the practical science of performing worship correctly—implying attention to prescribed rites before beginning any major undertaking.
