Narada (in instruction within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue frame)
Vrata: Caturthī-vrata (general, all months/fortnights)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that devotion-focused worship of Vighneśa is appropriate on every Caturthī, emphasizing regular, time-aligned (tithi-based) practice rather than occasional worship.
The verse makes bhakti the primary qualification—those “intent on devotion” should worship—showing that inner reverence and dedication are central to successful pūjā, beyond mere ritual formality.
It uses calendrical discipline based on tithi (Caturthī across both pakṣas), reflecting practical Jyotiṣa-based timing for rites—an applied aspect of Vedic timekeeping used in vrata and pūjā.
