Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that proper tithi-based worship, performed “according to rule” (vidhānataḥ), sanctifies devotion by aligning inner reverence with outer Vedic procedure—here honoring Brahmā as non-different from Viṣṇu in essence and purpose.
Bhakti is expressed through samarcana (reverent worship) directed to the Supreme (Viṣṇu), even when approached via another deity-form (Brahmā as Viṣṇu-rūpi). The verse emphasizes devotion supported by disciplined observance rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects calendrical and ritual precision—tithi observance (Dvitīyā of the bright fortnight) and prescribed arrangement of offerings (saptadhānya on a kumbha), aligning with Jyotiṣa (timing) and Kalpa (ritual procedure).
