FAQs

It functions as an anukramaṇikā (table-of-contents style) marker, indicating that sacred geography—Pañcanada, Bindumādhava, Vaiṣṇava tīrthas, and Kāśī—will be treated as spiritually potent themes that support purification and devotion.

By foregrounding Bindumādhava and the ‘Vaiṣṇava tīrtha’ section, the verse points to bhakti expressed through pilgrimage, darśana, and remembrance of Viṣṇu’s manifestations—standard Purāṇic supports for cultivating devotion.

No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; it is primarily a structural index of upcoming tīrtha and deity-related narratives used for organizing recitation and study.
