แล้วกล่าวถึงมหิมาของเกทาระ การขับสรรเสริญการจาริกสู่ตirthaต่างๆ; ต่อจากนั้นเป็นเรื่องของตirthaโกฏีศวรและรูปะ-ตีรถะ พร้อมทั้งตำนานอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของหฤษีเกศะ
