प्रभूतोपहतात् अन्नात् अग्रं उद्धृत्य सन्त्यजेत् ।

शेषस्य प्रोक्षणं कुर्याद् आचम्यादिभस् तथा मृदा ॥

prabhūtopahatād annād agraṃ uddhṛtya santyajet | śeṣasya prokṣaṇaṃ kuryād ācāmyādi-bhas tathā mṛdā ||

จากอาหารที่ปนเปื้อนอย่างมาก พึงตักส่วนบน/ส่วนที่กระทบออกแล้วทิ้ง ส่วนที่เหลือให้ประพรมด้วยน้ำ (โปรกษณะ) แล้วทำอาจามนะและพิธีชำระอื่น ๆ และชำระด้วยดินตามบัญญัติ
