FAQs

Identity based on name and body is constructed and temporary; recognizing oneself as distinct from the elemental body reduces suffering rooted in misidentification.

Not a cosmological sarga/pratisarga passage; it is best cataloged as vaṃśānucarita with explicit mokṣa-śāstra instruction (didactic overlay within dynastic narrative).

The ‘five-element body’ is treated as an object (dṛśya) while the child is addressed as pure subject (draṣṭṛ). The lullaby functions as nididhyāsana-seed: repeated hearing plants non-identification (dehābhimāna-tyāga).
