Nārada’s Examination of Royal Ethics
कच्चित् क्रतूनेकचित्तों वाजपेयांश्व सर्वश: । पुण्डरीकांश्व कार्त्स्येन यतसे कर्तुमात्मवान्,अपने मनको वशमें करके एकाग्रचित्त हो वाजपेय और पुण्डरीक आदि सभी यज्ञ-यागोंका तुम पूर्णरूपसे अनुष्ठान करनेका प्रयत्न तो करते हो न?
kaccit kratūn ekacitto vājapeyāṁś ca sarvaśaḥ | puṇḍarīkāṁś ca kārtsnyena yatase kartum ātmavān ||
นารทกล่าวว่า “ท่านได้ข่มใจให้อยู่ในอำนาจและทำจิตให้เป็นหนึ่ง แล้วมุ่งมั่นด้วยความแน่วแน่ที่จะประกอบยัญพิธีทั้งปวง—เช่น วาชเปยะและปุณฑรีกะ—ให้ครบถ้วนตามพิธีกรรมหรือไม่?”
