Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः

आगमगमे च प्रयोगे च चक्रे तुल्यमिवात्मना । तुतोष पुत्र सौभद्रं प्रेक्षमाणो धनंजय:,धनंजयने अभिमन्युको (अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंक) आगम और प्रयोगमें अपने समान बना दिया था। वे सुभद्राकुमारको देखकर बहुत संतुष्ट रहते थे

āgamāgame ca prayoge ca cakre tulyam ivātmanā | tutoṣa putra-saubhadraṁ prekṣamāṇo dhanañjayaḥ ||

ทั้งในการศึกษาอาคมและในการนำไปใช้จริง ธนัญชัยได้ฝึกบุตรแห่งสุภัทราอย่างถึงที่สุด จนประหนึ่งเสมอด้วยอรชุนเอง เมื่อมองดูเด็กน้อยอภิมันยุ อรชุนก็เปี่ยมด้วยความปลื้มปีติและความพอใจอยู่เสมอ
