Educational Q&A

Legitimate power is portrayed as protective and orderly: a righteous leader or ally comes well-guarded, signaling preparedness to defend dharma and maintain stability rather than to intimidate without cause.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Śrī Kṛṣṇa (Śauri) reaches Indraprastha accompanied by his kin—brothers and sons—along with many warriors and a large army, emphasizing his secure, formidable arrival.
