Shloka 22

खाण्डवदाहे देवविमुखता तथा मयदानवाभयदानम् | Khāṇḍava Burning: Devas Withdraw; Maya Granted Protection

एष तावदभिप्रायमाख्यातु स्वं महामति: । यदस्य रुचिरं कर्तु तत्‌ कुरुध्वमतन्द्रिता:,“पहले परम बुद्धिमान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण अपना अभिप्राय बतावें। तदनन्तर जो कर्तव्य इन्हें उचित जान पड़े, उसीका आलस्य छोड़कर पालन करो”

eṣa tāvad abhiprāyam ākhyātu svaṃ mahāmatiḥ | yad asya ruciraṃ kartu tat kurudhvam atandritāḥ ||

ขอให้ผู้มีปัญญายิ่งนั้นประกาศเจตนาของตนก่อน แล้วสิ่งใดที่ท่านเห็นว่าสมควรและพึงกระทำ จงลงมือทำโดยไม่ประมาท ไม่เกียจคร้าน
