त॑ दृष्टवा द्रुपद: प्रीतो बभूव रिपुसूदन: । सह सैन्यैश्न पार्थस्य साहाय्यार्थमियेष स:,अर्जुनको देखकर शत्रुसूदन ट्रपदके हर्षकी सीमा न रही। उन्होंने अपनी सेनाके साथ उनकी सहायता करनेका निश्चय किया
taṁ dṛṣṭvā drupadaḥ prīto babhūva ripusūdanaḥ | saha sainyaiś ca pārthasya sāhāyyārtham iyeṣa saḥ ||
ครั้นทอดพระเนตรอรชุนแล้ว ท้าวทฺรุปทะผู้ปราบศัตรูยิ่งนักก็ปลาบปลื้มปีติยิ่ง ด้วยตั้งพระทัยจะเกื้อหนุนปารถะ จึงยกกองทัพออกไปเพื่อช่วยเหลือเขา
