तस्मिंस्तु शब्दे महति प्रवृद्धे युधिष्ठिरो धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठ: । आवासमेवोपजगाम शीजच्र॑ सार्थ यमाभ्यां पुरुषोत्तमा भ्याम्‌,उस समय जब महान्‌ कोलाहल बढ़ने लगा, धर्मात्माओंमें श्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर पुरुषोत्तम नकुल और सहदेवको साथ लेकर डेरेपर ही चले गये

tasmiṁs tu śabde mahati pravṛddhe yudhiṣṭhiro dharmabhṛtāṁ variṣṭhaḥ | āvāsam evopajagāma śīghraṁ sārdhaṁ yamābhyāṁ puruṣottamābhyām ||

เมื่อเสียงอื้ออึงใหญ่หลวงทวีขึ้น ยุธิษฐิระผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่ผู้ทรงธรรม ก็รีบกลับสู่ค่าย พร้อมด้วยนกุลและสหเทวะ บุรุษผู้เลิศทั้งสอง
