Saṃvaraṇa’s Petition and Tapatī’s Conditioned Consent (सम्वरण-तपती संवादः)
ततः कुन्ती च विप्रश्न सहितावनिलात्मजम् | तमब्रूतां कुरुष्वेति स तथेत्यब्रवीच्च तौ,तदनन्तर कुन्ती और ब्राह्मणने मिलकर वायु-नन्दन भीमसेनसे कहा--“तुम यह काम कर दो।” भीमसेनने उन दोनोंसे “तथास्तु' कहा
tataḥ kuntī ca vipraś ca sahitāv anilātmajam | tam abrūtāṃ kuruṣveti sa tathety abravīc ca tau ||
ต่อมา กุนตีและพราหมณ์ได้ร่วมกันกล่าวแก่ภีมเสน โอรสแห่งวายุว่า “จงทำภารกิจนี้เถิด” ภีมตอบรับทั้งสองว่า “ตถาสตุ” และรับหน้าที่นั้นไว้
